ผู้ดำเนินรายการ: สวัสดีครับ ขอต้อนรับสู่ Radio Thailand แหล่งข้อมูลที่ท่านไว้วางใจสำหรับประเด็นการสนทนาที่น่าสนใจและมุมมองระดับนานาชาติ วันนี้เราได้รับเกียรติเปิดช่วงสัมภาษณ์พิเศษกับ คุณสุวัชชัย วงษ์พานิช เลขาธิการสมาคมมิตรภาพไทย-เวียดนาม โดยปีนี้ถือเป็นวาระครบรอบ 50 ปี แห่งการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทยและเวียดนาม

 

ในการสนทนาพิเศษครั้งนี้ คุณสุวัชชัยจะมาให้ข้อมูลเจาะลึกเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีที่มีมาอย่างยาวนานระหว่างสองประเทศ โดยมุ่งเน้นไปที่บทบาทและการดำเนินงานเชิงรุกของสมาคมมิตรภาพไทย-เวียดนาม อาทิ กิจกรรมส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในระดับประชาชนต่อประชาชน และแผนงานอื่นๆ ที่ทางสมาคมได้จัดเตรียมไว้เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองหมุดหมายสำคัญในโอกาสครบรอบ 50 ปีนี้ครับ

 

ผู้ดำเนินรายการ: ที่ผ่านมาสมาคมมิตรภาพไทย-เวียดนาม ได้จัดกิจกรรมใดบ้างเพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในระดับประชาชนต่อประชาชนครับ?

 

คุณสุวัชชัย: ครับ ในช่วงหลายปีที่ผ่านมา เราได้จัดกิจกรรมมากมายร่วมกับพันธมิตรของเรา ทั้งภาคธุรกิจของไทยและสมาคมอื่นๆ โดยกิจกรรมของเราครอบคลุม 4 ด้านหลัก ได้แก่: ด้านวัฒนธรรมและกีฬา, ด้านสาธารณสุข, ด้านการศึกษา และด้านเศรษฐกิจ

 

ตัวอย่างเช่น ในปี 2568 เราได้จัดงาน Thai-Vietnam Business Forum ณ กรุงฮานอย ซึ่งประจวบเหมาะกับการเดินทางเยือนเวียดนามของท่านนายกรัฐมนตรีแพทองธาร ชินวัตร เมื่อเดือนพฤษภาคมปีที่แล้ว ซึ่งถือว่าประสบความสำเร็จอย่างมาก เราสามารถประสานงานให้บริษัทภาคเอกชนจำนวนมากได้มีโอกาสเข้าหารือแบบตัวต่อตัวกับนายกรัฐมนตรีเวียดนาม ซึ่งช่วยให้ผู้ประกอบการสามารถขยายธุรกิจหรือแก้ไขปัญหาบางประการที่อาจพบเจอในการทำธุรกิจที่นั่นได้ครับ

 

นอกจากนี้ เรายังจัดโครงการส่งนักศึกษาจากประเทศไทยไปศึกษาต่อที่เวียดนาม โดยเรามีความร่วมมือระหว่าง มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และ FPT University ซึ่งนักศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นได้เข้าร่วมโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนเพื่อไปศึกษาที่เวียดนาม และในทางกลับกัน เราก็มีความร่วมมือระหว่าง FPT University กับ มหาวิทยาลัยหอการค้าไทย (UTCC) ให้นักศึกษาจาก FPT University เดินทางมาศึกษาในประเทศไทยเช่นกัน

 

ในด้านกีฬา เราก็ได้จัดการแข่งขัน ฟุตบอลกระชับมิตร ณ กรุงฮานอย สำหรับทีมฟุตบอลหญิงรุ่นอายุไม่เกิน 17 ปี ระหว่างไทยและเวียดนามในปี 2568 ที่ผ่านมาครับ

 

และเพื่อเฉลิมฉลองวาระครบรอบ 50 ปี ความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทยและเวียดนามในปีนี้ เรากำลังวางแผนกิจกรรมอื่นๆ อีกมากมายทั้งในไทยและเวียดนาม เช่น การจัดงาน Thai-Vietnam Business Forum อีกครั้งในช่วงปีนี้ เพื่อให้สอดรับกับการเดินทางเยือนไทยของผู้นำระดับสูงของเวียดนาม ซึ่งเราหวังว่าจะเกิดขึ้นในปีนี้ครับ

 

สำหรับกิจกรรมหลักอื่นๆ เรายังคงมุ่งมั่นส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนในระดับประชาชนต่อประชาชนให้ใกล้ชิดยิ่งขึ้น โดยวางแผนจะจัดโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยไทยและเวียดนามเพิ่มเติม เพื่อให้โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มเยาวชนได้มีความเข้าใจในวัฒนธรรมเวียดนาม ภาษาเวียดนาม และด้านอื่นๆ ดียิ่งขึ้น เพราะเราเชื่อว่าความสัมพันธ์ที่แน่นแฟ้นระหว่างสองประเทศต้องเริ่มต้นจากระดับประชาชนครับ

 

ผู้ดำเนินรายการ: แล้วในปี 2569 นี้ ทางสมาคมมีแผนกิจกรรมใดบ้างเพื่อรำลึกถึงโอกาสครบรอบ 50 ปี แห่งการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทยและเวียดนามครับ?

 

คุณสุวัชชัย: เราวางแผนจัดกิจกรรมที่ครอบคลุมหลายด้านครับ ใน ด้านการศึกษา เรามีแผนจะส่งเสริมโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาไทยไปเรียนที่เวียดนามและนักศึกษาเวียดนามมาเรียนที่ไทยอย่างต่อเนื่อง

 

นอกจากนั้น เราจะดำเนินโครงการส่งเสริมให้นักศึกษาไทยเรียนภาษาเวียดนามต่อไป โดยปีที่แล้วเราได้เริ่มโครงการกับนักศึกษากลุ่มแรกที่เรียนภาษาเวียดนามพื้นฐานในไทย ก่อนจะเดินทางไปศึกษาต่อที่ มหาวิทยาลัยดานัง (University of Da Nang) เป็นเวลาประมาณหนึ่งเดือน ซึ่งในปีนี้เราวางแผนที่จะทำโครงการนี้ต่อครับ

 

นอกจากนี้ เรายังมีแผนจะมอบ ทุนการศึกษาให้นักศึกษาไทยไปศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาเอกในเวียดนาม ซึ่งเราเชื่อว่าจะช่วยสร้างความเข้าใจที่ดียิ่งขึ้นและส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศ

 

ใน ด้านสาธารณสุข เรามีแผนจะจัดกิจกรรมบริจาคแว่นตาให้แก่ผู้สูงอายุในเวียดนาม โดยตั้งเป้าจะดำเนินการใน จังหวัดด่งนาย (Dong Nai) ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ที่มีธุรกิจไทยเข้าไปลงทุนอยู่เป็นจำนวนมากครับ

 

ใน ด้านวัฒนธรรม เราวางแผนจะจัดการแข่งขันฟุตบอลกระชับมิตรระหว่างทีมจากสองประเทศอีกครั้ง เพราะฟุตบอลเป็นกีฬายอดนิยมอย่างมาก ไม่ใช่แค่ในไทย แต่รวมถึงในเวียดนามด้วย

 

นอกเหนือจากฟุตบอล เรายังสนับสนุนการส่งเสริม มวยไทย ในเวียดนาม โดยเราได้สนับสนุนการจัดตั้งชมรมมวยไทยที่ FPT University ซึ่งมีการเติบโตขึ้นเรื่อยๆ และเราเห็นการสนับสนุนจากฝั่งไทยมากขึ้นในการเผยแพร่และโปรโมตมวยไทยในเวียดนามครับ

Host: สวัสดีครับ, welcome to Radio Thailand, your trusted source for engaging discussions and international perspectives. Today, we are honored to feature a special interview with Mr. Suwatchai Songwanit, General Secretary of the Thailand-Vietnam Friendship Association. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Vietnam.

 

In this special conversation, Mr. Suwatchai will give insight into the long-standing bilateral relations between the two countries, focusing on the role and proactive operations of the Thailand-Vietnam Friendship Association, such as activities to promote people-to-people cooperation and other plans that the association prepared to commemorate the 50th anniversary milestone.

 

Host: What activities has the Thai-Vietnam Friendship Association organized to promote people-to-people cooperation?

 

Mr. Suwatchai: Yes, over the past years, we have organized many activities in conjunction with our partners, including the Thai business sectors and also other associations. Our activities cover four main areas: Culture and Sport, Healthcare, Education and Economy

 

For example, in 2025, we organized the Thai-Vietnam Business Forum in Hanoi, to coincide with the visit of Prime Minister Paetongtarn’s visit to Vietnam in May of last year, which proved to be very successful. We managed to arrange for many private sector companies to have the opportunity to have one-on-one sessions with the Prime Minister of Vietnam. This helped them expand their business or resolve certain issues they may have faced while doing business there.

 

We also organized students from Thailand to go and study in Vietnam. We have a collaboration between Khon Kaen University and FPT University, where Khon Kaen University students have an exchange program to study in Vietnam. Vice versa, we also have collaboration between FPT University and the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC), whereby students from FPT University come and study in Thailand.

 

We also have arranged other sport activities. For example, in 2025, we organized a friendly football match in Hanoi for the under-17 ladies' team between Thailand and Vietnam.

 

And to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Vietnam this year, we are planning many other activities in Thailand and also in Vietnam. For example, we also plan to organize another Thai-Vietnam Business Forum during the year to coincide with the high-level visit of the senior leaders of Vietnam who hopefully will be able to visit Thailand this year.

 

Other key activities: we also continue to promote the closer people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. We plan to also organize further exchange programs between Thai and Vietnamese universities so that, especially the young people, they have a better understanding of the Vietnamese culture, the Vietnamese language, and other areas. Because we believe that the closer relationship between the two countries starts from the people-to-people level.

 

Host: So, in 2026, what activities does the Association plan to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Thailand and Vietnam?

 

Mr. Suwatchai: We plan to organize many activities covering different areas. For the Education part, we plan to continue to promote the exchange programs for Thai students to go and study in Vietnam and also for Vietnamese students to come and study in Thailand.

 

In addition to that, we will also continue our program to promote Thai students to learn the Vietnamese language. Last year, we already started the first group of students who studied basic Vietnamese while in Thailand and then went to the University of Da Nang to study Vietnamese for a period of one month or so. This year, we plan to continue to do that.

 

In addition, we also plan to arrange a scholarship for a Thai student to do a PhD in Vietnam. We believe that this will help to create a better understanding and also to promote the closer people-to-people exchange between the two countries.

 

On the Healthcare front, we also plan to make donations of eyeglasses to senior people in Vietnam. The plan is to do that in Dong Nai Province, where there are quite a number of Thai businesses investing in the area as well.

 

On the Cultural front, we also plan to arrange another friendly football match between teams from the two countries. I think because football obviously is a very popular sport, not only in Thailand but very much so in Vietnam.

 

In addition to football, we also support the promotion of Thai Boxing (Muay Thai) in Vietnam. We have supported the establishment of the Thai Boxing club at FPT University, which has grown, and we see a lot more support from the Thai side to disseminate and promote Thai Boxing in Vietnam.
